Salih KESGİN, who was born in 1981, graduated from Samsun Anatolian Imam Hatip High School in 1999 and graduated from Ondokuz Mayıs University, Faculty of Theology in 2003 and Anadolu University Faculty of Economics, Department of Public Administration in 2005.
He completed his master’s degree in Ondokuz Mayıs University, Institute of Social Sciences ‚“ Driving Various Faith Groups from the Arabian Peninsula in the Context of Related Hadiths ”in 2005, and his second master’s degree in London University Faculty of Law in 2009 with his thesis titled“ Text, Interpretation, and Law ”.
After completing his doctorate study at Ondokuz Mayıs University, Institute of Social Sciences, titled “The Problem of Understanding in the Determination and Evaluation of Hadith” in 2012, KESGİN continues his second doctorate in İstanbul Medeniyet University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Public Administration.
He visited at London University, Jordan University and Bihaç University in Bosnia and Herzegovina as a visiting researcher and lecturer. Dr. Salih KESGİN served as a Faculty Member at Ondokuz Mayıs University before he was appointed as the Secretary-General of Samsun University on 26.10.2018.
